Thoughts and musings

These are just a few opinions that I have about life and other stuff.

You should never ask a question of your spouse unless you are prepared for a truthful answer. Sometimes it's best not to know.

Banks that lend money to people with bad credit deserve to go out of business......duh.

It really isn't about how much money you make, it's about how you spend the money you have. There's nothing wrong with living within your means.

A person may be smart, but people as a group generally are not.

Elmo is largely responsible for the failures of society with his "me, me, me" attitude. Grover, on the other hand, has a superpower which is being super helpful. If more people were like Grover instead of Elmo, the world would be a nicer place to be.

Barack Obama is not a terrorist because of his very loose affiliation with Bill Ayers. But, if we use Sarah Palin's definition, then she's a terrorist too by being closely affiliated with Pastor Muthee.

Chris Matthews (of Hardball) is just the cutest thing. I love the way he says "Amurrica." And he kinda looks like a bunny :)

People in my profession would be much more successful if they would try to think in context and not freak out.

Most of the world's problems stem from over-population. If we would have less children, there would be fewer problems. There should be tax breaks for people withOUT children. Why should I pay for schools and such when I'm not using them? Especially when schools here are so horribly below par. I should get a government check for NOT having kids. There should be some big incentive to remain childless...or to adopt.

John McCain is a senile, whiny, warmongering jerk.

If the Democrats had nominated a generic white guy, the election would already by over.

It's pretty sad that the Republicans are in such turmoil that they need someone to "energize the base." And to keep energizing the base.

Anyone who is made "nervous" by Katie Couric is not ready to be vice-president.

Joe Biden might have completely fake teeth....those things can't be natural!

Sarah Palin is a terrible mother for taking her children onto the ice to drop the puck at a hockey game when she knew for an absolute certainty that she was going to be boo'ed. Not only did she take them with her to suffer, she dressed her youngest daughter in a Flyers jersey to try to reduce some of the booing, thereby using her as a human shield! Despicable.
